Once you have health insurance you may need help using it, as insurance can be hard to understand at first. If you don’t have health insurance you may need help accessing health services.
Our Community Health Advocates (CHA) may be able to help you!
Our Community Health Advocates assist New Yorkers with understanding their health insurance and accessing the health care services they need, through the Community Service Society Program. CHA provides free, confidential individual counseling to individuals, families, small businesses and advocates. MiSN is part of a network of 28 organizations and small businesses that provide services in every county in New York State. We can provide help in English and Spanish, and many other languages through a language help line.
